MEET DR. GJERTSEN

Dr. Anjanette Gjertsen

Dr. Gjertsen received her undergraduate degree in biology and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch Houston. She then completed a three-year residency program in Endodontics and received a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master’s of Science Degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch Houston. She was the recipient of a Student Achievement Award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontists, and a Student Achievement Award from the Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities.

Dr. Gjertsen is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Connecticut Association of Endodontists, and a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Greater Norwalk Dental Society. Dr. Gjertsen is an active member of the Seattle Study Club, Greenwich component. Dr. Gjertsen has been appointed an Alternate Delegate to the House of Delegates, Connecticut State Dental Association from the Greater Norwalk Dental Society/District from 2008-present. She is currently the President of the Greater Norwalk Dental Society. Dr. Gjertsen has achieved the status of Board Eligible from the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Gjertsen has a special interest in the field of dental trauma, and much of her research, including her Master’s Thesis research project, was related to trauma.

Dr. Gjertsen has been elected by her peers to " Top Dentists" since 2010. Dr. Gjertsen is married and the mother of two young girls.
